The Wedding Night…

Esther, 5 Years Ago

“You’ve never had Thai iced tea?” I raise a brow at my new husband as I suck down the ultra caffeinated delicacy. “How is that possible?”

Koa shrugs and pops another spring roll in his mouth with his thick fingers. I stare at his tongue as it sneaks out to lick his plump lips. I acknowledge that I’m hot for him. Desperately hot for him.

I suck down the last dregs of my drink and press my palms to the table, staring at Koa. He’s everything I find attractive in a man: he’s bigger than me, he smells nice, and he’s leaving town really soon. I twirl a lock of my hair around my finger as I glance around looking for the server. I feel Koa’s foot against my leg and glance down. It seems like he’s just trying to fit under the table rather than seduce me. Somehow I suspect he’d be more direct if he wanted to do the latter.

“You know what I have had to drink?” Koa grins as he leans forward a bit. “Mai Thai.” He makes a slurping sound. “I love the rum.”

“Okay, but you know that’s not actually a Thai drink, right? And we’re at a Thai restaurant?”

“We can’t all be world savvy mixologists, wife.” The server stops at the table with a pitcher of water and Koa grins at her. He’s sitting and is so tall he’s almost at eye level with her, standing. “Can we get a couple of cocktails, hun? Whatever’s your favorite.”

I watch the server nearly melt into a swoon puddle and feel an odd sense of ferocity about my newly-acquired spouse. Don’t like that!

But she soon reappears with a tray of coconut drinks and it only takes a few sips for me to chill out about the idea of Koa being with someone else. We made no promises of monogamy. We both know this is a business arrangement.

“Nothing like a good set of coconuts,” Koa mutters, cupping his hands around both our glasses and wagging his eyebrows at me.

I wish it wasn’t funny, but it is. It is hilarious for some reason and I laugh like a schoolgirl at his weird, gross line. “A warm pair of coconuts does feel nice, I’ll give you that.”

“Mmm.” He clinks his glass against mine and we both drink. Before I know it, a few more pairs of coconut drinks have come and gone, along with my favorite appetizers, bowls of noodles, and the daylight.

Koa leaves an obnoxious wad of cash on the table and suggests he should walk me home. Hand in hand, we lumber across the Rachel Carson Bridge right as the crowds are starting to arrive for the baseball game. A busker plays the tuba and Koa starts to dance, shaking his bubble butt and filling my drunken head with filthy thoughts.

We make it through the crowds and swerve toward my apartment building, and Koa’s face falls. “This is where you live?”

I shrug. “It’s temporary. I recently came into some funds for an upgrade.” I grin and place a palm on his chest. “Thank you for that.”

His brows shoot up as I start on the series of locks on my door. “If I’d known it was this dire I’d have given you more.”

“How about you give me more of something else, Koa?” I don’t know if it’s the alcohol or the dancing or the thrill of him leaving in the morning, but I shirk off all timidity and just go for it. I reach for his crotch and give him a gentle squeeze. He moans and leans closer to me.

“I’ll give it to you, Esther. And you’ll take it, won’t you?”

I nod rapidly, fumbling with the final deadbolt. He’s on me as we stumble inside the open door. He kicks it shut, but not too hard because we both know the flimsy door would splinter if he gave it his all.

His plump lips crash against mine and I feel his delicious palms on my ass. I dig my fingers into his chest as I work to strip him of his shirt and then I gasp when he yanks my jeans down and smacks my butt.

I’m so taken aback and turned on that I trip, landing on the coffee table, which crunches under the combined weight of me and Koa. Because he’s not letting me away from him. Not one inch separates us as he pants and kisses, stripping our clothes. His breath is sweet as he breathes my name.

A big thumb caresses my center through the barrier of my underwear and I regret that I ever bought them. “More, Koa. Please!”

“You don’t have to beg me, Esther. Not ever.” He peels the last of my clothes from my body and crouches in the rubble between my legs. “Christ, Esther, you’re gorgeous.”

I reach for him, managing to snag an arm in my lust-cloud. “You’re gorgeous, too.” I mean it. He seems to glisten in the darkness, his golden skin taut over muscles I never knew were possible. I stop thinking about it when he licks me, though.

Long and deep, he laps at me like I’m a fine cocktail. His hands massage my coconuts and I start to giggle at the memory of his joke.

He looks up. “This shouldn’t be funny, hun.”

“But it’s fun, Koa. Don’t stop.”

He shakes his head. “I’ll show you, laughing.” I’m on my hands and knees in an instant as he flips me over. It’s like I weigh nothing at all, putty in his strong and capable hands.

Those hands return to my body, gently parting my folds this time. “Do you have something?” I look over my shoulder and see he’s already rummaging in his khakis with one hand while he uses the other to get me off.

Finding what he sought, Koa grins and leans over me. I feel the beautiful warmth of his chest against my back and he whispers into my ear as he strums my clit and pinches my nipples. “You’re so soft, Esther. Your skin is like velvet. I could pet you all night.”

I drop my head and lean in to his hand, and the pressure increases. He continues to praise while he strokes and I lose myself to the experience. Soon I’m moaning and throbbing, my body contracting as the orgasm sneaks up on me. I gasp in shock when he slides his thumb inside me and I spasm around him, shouting his name and jerking my hips. “God, Koa, fuck, this feels so good.”

“You’re right. You feel amazing.” He leans back and I shiver in the absence of his heat, but he’s back before I can panic.

“I can’t wait to slide inside you, pet.”

“Not your pet,” I moan, and then groan when I feel the blunt tip of his cock pressing into me. My body sucks him in greedily. Suddenly, he is everywhere. Deep inside me, draped over me, hands beside me. I am full of him and it’s warm and electric. My head swims as he begins to move, murmuring all the time about how beautiful I am.

“You were made for me,” he mutters, then grunts as he digs his thick hands into my hips. I hear the sounds of us slapping together, the wet suck and slide as our bodies glide. It occurs to me that this is my wedding night. This is much more than I ever imagined a wedding night would feel like.

“Koa,” I whimper. My arms shake and I lower myself so my face rests on my forearms.

“That’s it, gorgeous. You lift those hips for me.” I do as he asks and sink into the floor as he fills me again and again. I look over my shoulder and meet his gaze, his face full of wonder and awe. I see the place where our skin comes together, the veins in his hands, the beautiful curves of his shoulders.

This man is mine, I think, just for a second. And then I forget how to breathe because I’m coming again. I feel my body pulse around him and I whisper, “I’m coming. I’m coming for you. For you.”

He growls and stiffens, coming right along with me, before he collapses on top of me. The two of us sink to the floor amidst the wreckage of my furniture. He reaches up at some point and grabs a blanket from the sofa, and we fall asleep, cocooned in one another.

Thank you for sticking with Esther and Koa! Esther’s sisters will each be getting books…soon! For now, if you want to catch the Foof crew from the very beginning, they first show up in my book Vibration: An Accidental Roommates Romance.
